Kennedy Beach Side 2Bed Luxury Apt Ground Floor

Positive: Firstly, Katie & Peter were great hosts, responding to messages in a very timely manner. They were extremely accommodating, agreeing to a later check out (12pm, rather than 11am), so that I could join a work meeting online at 11am. The apartment was generally fine, with a lounge area, kitchen area, two bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom), and two showers. Small gestures such as shower gel, shampoo and tea & coffee were great. The beds were very comfortable! The location of the apartment was perfect, with the promenade just across the road and the tram stop just a short walk. Fish & chips shop and other shops close by and Wetherspoons is just a short walk down the road. Parking was also available. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Negative: There was a strong smell of bleach when we arrived, that lasted throughout the first evening. Maybe using a scented disinfectant such as Zoflora or Fabulosa would have been more pleasant. There was only one roll of toilet paper provided in both bathrooms. We struggled to make this last between 4 of us. Just be careful when turning on the taps and showers. The water comes out extremely hot. Try to move them to the cold setting, before turning them on. As mentioned, Katie & Peter agreed to a later check out (1 hour later, at 12pm). At about 11.20am, there was a loud knock on the door. My sister opened it and it was one of the domestic workers. Before my sister had the chance to even say hello, the lady rudely said, "You should be out by now." My sister explained that a later check out had been agreed, so maybe this should have been communicated.

Brilliant Positive: Great location and lovely apartment Negative: Nothing to complain about we enjoyed ourselves

Positive: It is a great location, right on the promenade, but far enough away from the golden mile to be away fron the maddening summer crowds. Negative: Sand, sand everywhere in the apartment. There was no broom to sweep anywhere and the sand from the previous tennants was still there. No doormat, so there is no other option but to tread sand in every time you return.. Sand in the bed is a real issue The floors are old and worn. Water pressure is non existent. One of the 2 showers has been installed in a broom cupboard. The toilet is ceamped, thanks to the useless plumber who put the hand basin right next to the toilet bowl, so you can only half sit on it. Fridge has no freezer, so you cant buy anything frozen to store in the room.

Positive: I liked how clean and big this apartment is, owners were quick at getting back to you , it was near the south pier and close to the tram stop
